This hose will water 250' in one piece. We have read that there is a competitors hose that will water 1 mile in length........get real!

Mr. Soaker Hose is made from 100% recycled materials, 70% from recycled rubber and 30% recycled polyethylene products that are re-pelletized for use in the process. Professional Soaker Hose seeps water the entire distance of the hose. Bulk Soaker hose means there are NO fittings on the hose. In turn, you can cut to desired length to create your own custom system.

Installing the hose system in your garden is simple enough for just about anyone to do. An underground soaker system is the most effective, because you don’t lose any water to evaporation, and you can soak the roots of plants at a deeper level. Installing your soakers underground is most practical if you’re planning a new garden. You can incorporate the hoses into the garden design, and bury them as you plant your garden.

 

Specs for Professional Soaker Hose: Inside diameter .590, outside diameter .820, wall thickness .115.

 GPH is approx. 224 gallons per hour, per 100' at 25 psi, depending on inlet pressure and water hardness. Shorter lengths will have an increase in gph. Hose should be used on flat surfaces not exceeding a 2' rise over 100'.

Running lengths shorter than 100' will increase water flow, as lengths over 250' will decrease water flow.

A soaker hose pressure regulator of 25 psi is mandatory.  Burst strength is 80 PSI. DO NOT use soaker hose with normal house pressure. Maximum run is 250' per length with a maximum of  500' per faucet at one time.  Soaker should be used on flat surfaces not exceeding a 2' rise over 100'. In freezing climates install an auto drain valve. Always use a 200 mesh filter.
